Dedicated operator help desks

Whilst the Card scheme is ideal for those schemes where low volumes or moderate sales of particular lines are involved, the preferred option for those with anticipated large call volumes is that of dedicated operators.

In some cases clients start out using a card scheme before switching to the dedicated operator help desk option which will be more cost effective where product sales volumes are consistent month on month.

The card in the box, or some variant, usually remains the vehicle to alert the customer to the service.


Returns Authorisation Number:

This prohibits a customer returning a product unless he/she has obtained a RAN, this has worked particularly well as a means of reducing returns in the retail sector.
